The Truth About Equine Chiropractic: What is it?… And How Can It Help Your Horse?
With Dr Nicole Jones MRCVS of Donnington Grove Equine Vets
Wednesday, 18 March 2026 | 8:00 PM (UK)
To the average horse owner, equine chiropractic can feel slightly mysterious.
Is it just “clicking and cracking backs”?
Is it the same as physio?
Is it an alternative to veterinary treatment — or part of it?
In this live one-hour Q&A webinar, I’ll be joined by veterinary chiropractor and acupuncturist Nicole Jones MRCVS from Donnington Grove Vets to unpack what chiropractic actually is – and, importantly, what it isn’t.
You’ll learn about:
- What happens during a chiropractic assessment
- What practitioners mean when they talk about mobilisation and manipulation
- Why spinal mobility matters for performance, comfort and behaviour
- The kinds of cases that may benefit
- When chiropractic supports veterinary treatment — and when it shouldn’t replace it
- How it compares with physio, osteopathy and massage
As always at Intelligent Horsemanship, this won’t be about quick fixes or dramatic claims. It’s about understanding your horse better and making thoughtful, informed decisions.
There will even be a chance to ask your questions.
