Chris Peace, RCVS and Dipl. EVDC-Equine, is a distinguished specialist in equine dentistry, bringing unparalleled expertise to the field. Holding postgraduate veterinary qualifications in internal medicine and soft tissue surgery, he uniquely became the UK’s first veterinarian to qualify as an Equine Dental Technician (EDT) in 2001. In 2014, he achieved Diplomate status with the European Veterinary Dental College (EVDC-Equine), cementing his position as a recognized specialist by both the RCVS and the EVDC-Equine.
With extensive experience at all levels, Chris is a sought-after educator, lecturer, and examiner, sharing his knowledge globally. He has held pivotal roles within the veterinary community, including Chairman of the BEVA/BVDA examining committee for EDT exams, BEVA Council representative for equine dentistry, and Chairman of the BEVA Dental Working Party. Currently, he serves on the EVDC-Equine Exam Committee. Further demonstrating his commitment to excellence, Chris was honored with the prestigious Pet Plan Vet of the Year Award in 2011.
