HorseWorld –
Kelly Marks is the patron of this incredible charity dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned, neglected, and mistreated horses, ponies, and donkeys. Based in Bristol, Horseworld currently cares for more than 100 equines, with an additional 200 successfully re-homed throughout the South-West.
In addition this charity runs an innovative Discovery educational program, providing essential education on animal welfare. Thanks to the tireless efforts of our dedicated team, HorseWorld operates 365 days a year, funded entirely by voluntary donations.
Intelligent Horsemanship is thrilled to work with this charity, with several HorseWorld Team members having attended our courses to learn essential horse handling skills for rescues. Kelly Marks is also a Patron at Shylowen Horse and Pony Sanctuary, who rescue equines in need and provide a safe haven for life. While their main focus is those that can be rehabilitated and rehomed, they also take in animals ranging from wild ponies to neglected and abused working horses. Over time they have developed into offering equine therapy, horse whispering courses, facilitator training for equine assisted programs, an ethical riding school, and a range of community events. Intelligent Horsemanship has several Shylowen Team members on our courses to learn horse handling skills for rescues.

Lambourn RDA –
Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) is a charity that makes a difference; that champions disabled people and excels as a provider of disability sport. Nationally around 28,000 people with physical and learning difficulties are helped to achieve personal goals, through riding, vaulting and carriage driving each year.
Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) is a national organisation made up of Member Groups dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities, through riding and/or carriage driving.
