About Charlie…
Charlie has recently deepened her understanding of the psychological aspects of horses by studying Equine Behavioural Medicine (EBM) at the University of Edinburgh. This advanced knowledge allows her to provide a comprehensive perspective on equine behaviour, both under saddle and on the ground.
Inspired by the principles of Monty Roberts and Kelly Marks, Charlie is passionate about helping owners achieve their goals while fostering a strong bond and enjoyment with their horses. In this webinar, she will share her newly acquired knowledge in EBM, a specialised field focusing on the diagnosis, understanding, and treatment of behavioural issues in horses. Charlie will explore how medical, environmental, and historical factors influence behaviour, and discuss welfare-focused training techniques to improve the horse’s well-being and human-horse relationship.
