November News…

November started with a bang, as a new member and Online Horse Psychology student, Shendl MacGilp, won the £150 TopSpec Voucher in this month’s Members’ Prize Draw — well done!

If you’re anywhere near South Queensferry, Edinburgh on Saturday 7th December, here’s a treat — IH Trainer Julia Duncan is hosting a friendly Intelligent Horsemanship Coffee Morning.

Julia’s putting together a relaxed morning with plenty of horse talk, practical horsemanship tips, and a little groundwork so you can see the methods in action. It’s a brilliant opportunity for our Scottish Members — especially those who haven’t been able to make it to an IH event before — to connect, learn, and share a coffee (or two!) with like-minded horse lovers.

He’ll discuss what heart murmurs and arrhythmias can indicate in horses, how they’re assessed, and what factors vets consider when it comes to performance, welfare, and safety.

It’s a valuable opportunity to hear directly from someone at the forefront of equine heart research and clinical practice.
