Founder of the Veteran Horse Society
Julianne founded the Veteran Horse Society over 20 years ago, dedicating her life to the welfare, rehabilitation, and rehoming of horses aged 15 and over. She continues to lead the Society, personally visiting yards and establishments to provide hands-on advice for the unique challenges of caring for older horses.
The Society is also the driving force behind research into diseases like Cushings and other conditions that affect veteran horses. Their current national programme, in collaboration with Hilton Herbs, is leading the way in understanding and supporting horses with these challenges.
