“Always look a Gift Horse in the Mouth ” – Email 29

Hello There 

Abi*  and I are just back from the Horses Inside Out Conference, where we had a great time. I met up with 6 Intelligent Horsemanship Trainers, and I had 3 people come up to me and say, ‘I did a course with you, must have been 20 years ago!’ and in each case it was a catalyst for them going on to do something fulfilling with horses. So that was nice.

Abi made a video to show at the Conference which she then adapted for a 7-minute video.

“I bought a Wonky Horse for £1”

We called it “I bought a Wonky Horse for £1”; whether it’s inspirational or serves as a warning (!) is for you to decide!  It made me laugh at the Conference when Equine Dental Vet, Dr Chris Pearce, during one of his excellent talks, said actually “You should always look a gift horse in the mouth!”

I have so much to update you on, but I won’t overload you now.  We’re just finalising the IH Magazine, which obviously is going to be another AMAZING issue and all of a sudden we’re picking up some super membership prizes and webinars.

And the sun is shining!

*Abi Pass is an equine and canine physio, and we are lucky enough to have her at IH HQ on Mondays and Tuesdays.  This will be especially important for the couple of months Sharron will be off after having her hip replacement on 3rd March!
