Hello There

On Sunday Sharron, Hugo and I got over to Hartsop Farm for a small informal meeting of IH Trainers for some reminiscing and a bridle and bit reset for Hugo. As you'll know, little things can add up to make a huge difference…

Now admittedly, I’m not expecting us to get any Gold medals with Hugo, but horses have always been a terrific interest of mine (would you have guessed ?!) and knowing that the answers I find with him, I can pass on to YOU makes it all the more addictive!

We’ve got a webinar coming up on 17th December 2025 at 8:00 pm with the exceptional Professor Gunther van Loon of Ghent University — covering a topic we haven’t really explored much here at Intelligent Horsemanship before: equine heart health.

The webinar, “Equine Heart Health: What Do We Need to Know…” will do exactly that — answer the key questions around this fascinating subject. I expect we’ll all learn something from this one, so don’t miss out.

This coming February’s event will focus on soundness and symmetry — a topic very relevant here at IH at the moment as we work through Hugo’s rehabilitation and now strengthening programme.
