This two day mostly practical course is designed for the more competent horse person either with prior experience of our courses, those working towards their IH Diploma and those looking to further skills in handling unexperienced horses specifically. We source genuinely untouched young horses and ponies, so you can benefit from supervised ‘real life’ situations and problems. There can be risks involved and we are sympathetic to each student’s requests and ask you to let us know at every stage which horses and situations you are comfortable with, considering your levels of experience and confidence.
On This Course You Will Cover:
- ♞ leading
- ♞ first headcollar
- ♞ leg handling and more
Further Information:
Each student completing the course will be issued with a certificate stating completion which may be used against future certification of the Intelligent Horsemanship Diploma and the Monty Roberts Introductory Course of Horsemanship. From here you may wish to become a Monty Roberts Instructor by completing your training at Flag is Up Farms, California OR to become an Intelligent Horsemanship Recommended Trainer.
Please note, this is an Intermediate Course and students are required to have previously completed the 5 Day Foundation Course. (We will consider different prior experience if requested).
